    Yes. The thing I find about gumbo is that it's worth it to pay more for expensive gumbo. The shrimp will be bigger. Just about every gumbo I've ever had was great. I've had gumbo served by both black people and white people, and the gumbo varied slightly. But both were fine. At Red Lobster they have pretty good gumbo. It's on the spicier side. The shrimp are small, but the sausage and the rice taste very fresh. A bowl of gumbo at Red Lobster is a very filling soup. Oh it's a good recipe.

    Yes I do. I cant wait for my next trip to the south so I can get some good gumbo the way it's supposed to be!

    I love that gumbo -whether it be crawfish gumbo, alligator gumbo or andouille sausage gumbo, it's all great.

  • Ohh yes. My Grandma who live in New Orleans made it for me when I went to visit her. It is the BEST. That and muffaletas (spell?)

    Yes, but I haven't cooked any in a very long time because meat is so expensive.
