While walking across a bridge I saw a boat full of people. Yet on the boat there wasn't a single person. Why?

    The boat was full there was not only a single meaning 1 person but many!

    No there wasn't a single person there was a whole bunch of people, or the boat was full of couples no singles. However you want to interpret "single".

    because if there was a boat full of people there couldnt JUST be ONE SINGLE PERSON--there were a whole lot of people!
