Do a virus scan and a spyware scan. If they both come up empty, it means it is not caused by software corruption. In this case, simply buy a used CD drive, which should be around $5 or $10 if you go to the right place.
Freeware programs: Avast! antivirus and Spybot: Search and Destroy.

May be your pc infected with Virus! Please scan your pc through antivirus with latest updates! Or check your starting programs. May be any program run when you start your pc.
