Average cost of things in 2007?

Does anyone know where I can find a website that can give me the average prices for common things like car, gallon of milk, bread, movie ticket, candy bar, etc. for 2007. I am doing a scrapbook page for my daughter and I wish I would have thought about it then but now I am having trouble finding it.

I'm having the same problem. They used to post that information on www.timecapsule.com. That's what I used for my daughter who was born in 2004. My son, who was born last year, won't have the same info in his scrapbook, I guess.

Here is the list I was able to compile after a few hours of searching:

    1 lb. Hamburger: $2.79

    Three Bedroom Home: $212,800

    New Car: $27,958

    Hotel Room: $84.79

    Gallon of Gas: $3.00

    Loaf of Bread: $2.90

Airfare from NY to LA: $500.00

    Movie Ticket: $6.88

    Concert Ticket: $117.00

    Music CD: $14.99

    Candy Bar: $0.75

    Postage Stamp: $0.41

    Haircut: $45.00

    Newspaper: $0.50

    2 Liter of Soda: $1.39

    Gallon of Milk: $3.13

Anyway, this site has some fun stuff that I'm putting in the scrapbook: http://www.time.com/time/specials/2007/top10/0,305... has some good lists for last year.

    Good luck!

    :-)

    Try this site:

I have good luck when I go to www.intelways.com. That gives you many different search engines to choose from when doing searches. That's how I found the site above which I am using too for some work research.
