How can Obama be accused of racism when John Mc Cain gets a free pass while he used racist slurs?

something Obama never did. Why is Wright still an issue after Obama rejected those comments but the Mc Cain comments are not?

"Contrary to McCain’s attempt to narrowly define “****” to mean only his “sadistic” captors, this term has historically been used to describe all Asians. McCain said that “****” was the most “polite” term he could find to describe his captors, but because it is simply a pejorative term for Asians, he insulted his captors simply by calling them “Asians” — a clearly disturbing message. To the Asian American community, the term is akin to the racist word “******.” A friend of mine, a white male Vietnam veteran, pointed out that veterans, especially Vietnam veterans, know how spiteful the term “****” is. It has everything to do with labeling someone as “other,” the enemy and yellow. McCain sent the message that all Asians are foreigners and remain forever the “other” and the enemy."

It's the typical hypocrisy of the right wing. Imagine, a racial slur from a white republican is dismissed as justifiable, but a simple statement "average white person" coming from a black person is pounced on by every neocon, screaming "racist". Had the shoe been on the other foot, these self serving hypocrites would be screaming "political correctness". Neocons are the politically correct thought police.

While this is not the time and place, what Obama's pastor said maybe horrible to your average "MY COUNTRY RIGHT OR WRONG" yahoos, what he said is completely EVIDENCED in the historical record ..

On one issue alone and that is the US being responsible itself

for 9/11 is widely accepted by most reputable experts and is merely the CONSEQUENCES of things like :

    http://www.huppi.com/kangaroo/CIAtimeline.html

    http://home.iprimus.com.au/korob/fdtcards/Cards_In...

IF ANY COUNTRY OR PEOPLE EVEN TRIED TO DO UNTO THE US WHAT THE US HAS DONE UNTO THEM,THE US WOULD SIMPLY CARPET BOMB THEM NOT JUST BLOW UP A FEW BUILDINGS !!!!!!!

HYPOCRISY is always the hand maiden of Patriotism.

All of this to iterate that neither Obama or his pastor have any apologies to make if FACTS AND TRUTH is what is important.

    McCain's racism.

McCain's racism is well known and well documented :

    http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/opinion/hongop.shtml

McCain is able to get away with his racism because Americans simply do not believe his views of the Vietnamese are racist because of the Vietnam War .From WW11 ,Asians have long ago been demonized/vilified into non-humans deserving of the racist "****" epithet.

This of course is PAR FOR THE COURSE of the always monumentally hypocritical Americans.

Much more serious than the racism of McCain is the issue reflected in this article on the pathologically highly dis-functional view McCain has of Asians and their cultures .

    http://www.pierretristam.com/Bobst/07/cn092807.htm

Again, most Americans don't give a damn about this serious issue as they simply do not view Asians and others as human or at least human in the American sense.

To the MY COUNTRY RIGHT OR WRONG YAHOOS here that object to the facts herein, why has MCAINS MONUMENTAL RACISM not been an issue whatsoever in the campaign ???????????????????????????????

One man's TERRORIST is another man's FREEDOM fighter

and one man's RACISM is another man's BADGE OF HONOUR !!!!!

Wow!! Look at all the Asians who are SO upset at McCain for using that word to describe the animals who tortured him and the other Americans for more than 6 years, broke every bone in his body, killed some of them, and also killed 50,000 fine US men and women.

McCain was instrumental in re-opening diplomatic relations with Vietnam and was welcomed there when he visited with Sen John Kerry.

Actions speak louder than any words.

You really need to get a life and put your attentions into something that matters.

Like why Obama spent 20 years in a church that believes in liberation theology. Study up on that.

It's a lot different that the justifiable anger that McCain has clearly healed from.

The anger in Obama's theology is a poison that lives on and should not be part of the thinking of a man who asks to be president of the US.

Obama should resolve that anger before he asks to lead all Americans.

I'm going to try to sound as respectful as possible on this answer, but it may turn out controversial. McCain' racial slurs can get away with it, because of several things. Number one, he is an old man, and some people think that since he is old and a Veteran, he should be taken lightly. Another reason is that many people, many in the southern United States, are tired of Black people speaking about racism and get infuriated by it. White's who speak about racism in America, tend to get more supporters and less controversy then Blacks who speak about racism.

McCain isnt getting a free pass

What would YOU call someone who tortured you for 5-1/2 years Eisenhhower?

    Friend?

Bill, Wally, Frank, or would you use plain, no-BS terms about your ENEMY?

And your wrong about it historically being the slur of choice. That word only came into the lexicon during the Korean war.

Totally feckless attempt to smear boyo, you lose......

We can accuse NOBAMA of racism because he is racist. That really is not hard to understand.

Hmmm, trying to think of a way to explain it so you will understand. Let's try this:

NOBAMA does not like white people, especially typical white people. NOBAMA does not like typical white people because they are white. This makes him a racist.

John McCain gets a free pass from me because he explained what he meant by his use of the term, and that is wholly understandable and acceptable to me. Hence, the free pass.

No, John McCain did not send any such message. I never got that message from anything he has ever said and would never have thought of it until you brought it up and falsely proclaimed it as the truth. You sir are in error.

Because Obama's a sniveling little socialist elitist and McCain is a true (but deeply flawed) hero.
