Who else supplies gasoline besides the largest suppliers Exxon and Mobil?

I was also told these two have merged into one.

Update:

pstot: Thanks, I didn't think about that point, "many of the small gas station chains are owned by the conglomerates." How on earth do I get away from them!

Update 2:

Thanks to Gplus for the list. I have been looking them up.

I have not heard of this merger, but that is not to say it didn't happen.

Other suppliers include British Petroleum and Suncor (Sunoco). Of course the initial supplying is done by OPEC countries that pump crude out of the ground and sell it to these oil-refining and distributing companies.

Also, most of the small gas station chains are owned by one of the big conglomerates.

    Yes Exxon Mobil merged:

    http://www.exxonmobil.com/corporate/

    Major competition for them are:

    BP

    Chevron

    Conoco Phillips

    Royal Dutch Shell

    Total S.A.

There are others out there, but those four are the major players.

I don't know about the US but in UK it's BP (British Petroleum) and Shell.
