    If you want a linear relation, let x be the year and y = net sales

    Y = 667X - 1324636

    The above yields

    1997 7363

    1998 8030

    1999 8697

    2000 9364

    2001 10031

    2002 10698

    2003 11365

    2004 12032

    2005 12699

    r = correlation = .94153
