What does "Cimetière de Bagneux" mean?

I was looking up information on Amedeo Modigliani for an art project, and noticed a side-note about his wife and her burial at the "Cimetière de Bagneux" until her family relented. This implies that to be buried there was somehow a disgrace, but I am unable to find a definition for the phrase, however many languages I try to look it up in! Can anyone give me the meaning, please?

It means The Bagneux Cemetry, a famous burial place near Paris and is famous because Oscar Wilde was firstly buried there and the founder of the Football Word Cup, Julius Rimet.

It is also famous because it has a large Jewish Section; probably its majority.

it is a cemetery near Paris where amedeo modigliani's lover and the mother of his only child was buried in 1920, she was a model and artist named jeanne hebuterne. she killed herself after amedeo's death and her family originally had her buried there, however later on she was transferred to Père Lachaise Cemetery in 1930 in order to be with her love.

    hope this helps xx

Doesn't sound like a disgrace to me...after reading this it looks like many prominent people have been buried there. It is located in Montrouge.
