    Hi,

I don't know her work well, but have seen what we may call her ex libris works.

The feeling that strikes me most when viewing her works is that she transmits a sense of motherhood and kindness.

    Kind regards,

She made many compositions of mothers and children, but never had any children herself. She was the only American that exhibited with the Impressionists. She & Degas were the only Impressionists who consistently painted in their studios rather than in plein air (outside).
