    Source(s): Nas album came out in 1994...most of the singles back then came out the year before or months before the album was released. With the technology of today and the popularity of hip hop...albums are released much faster...then back then...The only artist that dropped back to back albums were mostly independantly owned lables like Rap A Lot or Ruthless. Labels that didnt have to worry about big corporate demands
