She obviously braided her dreads in,?

but how does she make it so you can't see the braid?

My synthetic hair is coming in 3-5 days, and I want to be ready..

I just can't see how you can't see any of the braid, clearly she has long hair.

Also, I have longish/shortish-medium hair, do you think I should make my dreads so that they are the same length as my hair, or longer? Help!

I forgot to add the image! Haha.

Update 2:

I have hair that is an inch below my collar bone, (clarification.)

I appologize.

Just hunted you down the tutorial I was thinking of with your last question! Here ya go http://www.afrocare.com/trd/pages/steps/ESD/

It looks like she hasn't braided them to the very bottom layer of hair but installed them a few inches up to hide the braids when they're in bunches

I'd say make them a few inches longer than your hair so they stand out a little

You probably should make it a little longer but not to long so people won't think it is really fake hair
