Why did McCain accuse Iran of helping Al-Qaeda and why did Joe Lieberman have to correct him?

Denver Post

03/18/2008

McCain, expressing concern about Iran's rising sway in the Mideast, said, "Al-Qaeda is going back into Iran and is receiving training and are coming back into Iraq from Iran." He made the comments Tuesday at a news conference in Jordan; he made similar comments earlier to radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt.

Well, he is practicing his ability to lie, if he is elected?

To add an amendment to The Constitution which is that citizens have The Human Right To Peace might be more effective. The story about Iran seems llike something anyone could say a sort of Witch Hunt mentality. The person just points at a country on a map of the world and says there are terrorists there. This would seem something a non politician with an opinion would say not something to go to war on.

George Bush made some mistakes when he spoke to & it didn't kill anybody so McCain deserves the same respect....Ronald Reagan was considered a great speaker & he didn't have Lieberman to help him but he had Nancy so leave McCane alone. As long as no one gets hurt who cares that he needs some help with foreign policy & such.

He misspoke and he was in Jordan when he said it. Have you ever heard of jet lag? I flew to Guam and it was two days before I could speak in sentences.

The funny thing is you will jump on McCain for misspeaking and then defend Obama for his relationship with Wright. Something doesn't seem equal here.

Because McCain forgot that the media has been lying to the American people and Joe had to remind him of media-created political reality.

Well, this is called "dummy substitution for the Oval Office" by the GOP I guess.

At least he can speak 100 words in English without skipping like a scratched CD.

Maybe the same reason Obama thought Canada had a president.

The Bush administration has to lie to tie Iran to something so they can set up some type of reason to attack them.. Just like they did Iraq, and Afghanistan....

  • It's obvious they need a bright Harvard Law Racists to correct them.

Maybe they will be able to find an unemployed signature collector to assist them
