I have a 94 ford Ranger 2.3 4 cylinder.What would cause it to not idle when cold? I replaced the TPS?

It just started this and once warmed up will idle

    the TPS wouldnt cause this problem. could very well be the Idle Air Control (IAC) motor on you throttle body (alows you engine to get air at idle). also could be a vac leak. is the check engine light on?

    It might be the IAC..idle air control.. I had the same problem with mine when I had it and this was the problem...good luck

    clean the mass airflow sensor, check coolant temp sensor operation.

    assumeing its tuned up....check 4 vaccume leaks,,also check engine lite on? get free scan at advance or other store...then..check coolant temp sensor,,,oxygen sensor,,
