NFL Past vs. Present! who would you pick???
Troy Aikman - Tom Brady (qb)
Terrel Davis - Ladainian Tomlinson (rb)
Chris Carter - Chad Jhonson (wr)
Bill Romanowsky - Bryan Urlacher (lb)
Emmy Smith - Bryant Westbrook (rb)
Deion Sanders - Champ Bailey (cb)
Shanon Sharpe - Antonio Gates (te)
Darrell Green - Antonio Cromart (cb)
Ken Houston - Rodney Harrison (s)
Steve Young - Carson Palmer (qb)
Ronnie Lott - Rodney Harrison (s)
Lance Alworth - Marvin Harrison (wr)
one more!
John Elway - Peyton Manning
I thought you would pick your boy Rodney!!
I can't believe most of you picked LT over Terrell Davis
It's not that they like Aikman TJ, its just that they hate Brady!

*I would'be picked Rodney Harrison, but Ken Houston was just a better safety as an Oiler.

Brady - Aikman isn't even close. He was good, but being on a great team is what made him good.
Terrell Davis - assuming he stays healthy. He was a monster prior to injuries, and would have been one of the best.
Chris Carter - All the guy did was catch TD passes! haha.
Brian Urlacher - Romo's off field issues were too much for me.
Ugh... I guess I'd have to go with Emmitt. Westbrook is amazing, but Emmitt is a better pure runner, and one of the all time greats.
Champ Bailey - he can play the run too. Deion may have been the best coverage guy ever, but he couldn't tackle to save his life.
Shannon Sharpe - he may be the best all - time.
Darrell Green - he played until he was like 93 years old.... at a position where most guys are washed up by 30.
Ken Houston - he was a legend back then, and is a HOF'er. Harrison is good, but not great.
Steve Young - gotta love the guy.
Ronnie Lott - Possibly the best all time. Harrison is nowhere near that.
Lance Alworth - Marvin Harrison is amazing, but Lance was in a league of his own when he played.
Elway or Manning... Elway.... or.... Manning... I'm going with Manning. My reasoning is simply that Elway was no longer the best QB in the league when he won the Super Bowls - he won them on TD's legs, not his arm.

Brady (now if you asked Montana or Brady.....)
LT (Davis was great..LT is better)
Chad Johnson (again.. he IS better)
Romonowski (He would F*n kill Urlacher)
Emmit Smith
Champ Bailey (Deion was scared to tackle people)
Shannon Sharpe
Darrell Green (though if Cromartie KEEPS producing......)
Ken Houston
Steve Young (and Carson is MY boy...but... Steve Young?)
Ronnie Lott...still the best DB EVER (went to the ProBowl as a CB, FS and an SS..who else can make that claim?)
Marvin Harrison
*Elway
*(What's up with the Aikman love...he was GOOD...but why don't you kids go back and watch the games, the talent he was surrounded by...and then look at his numbers and realize..they were actually kinda pedestrian, especially considering the weapons he had.)
*Typical... well, I base my list on which are better.. not which I like more... or there'd be no way Romonowski or LT would make my list... oh well... the travails of being a fan....

John Elway because the RB selection is pretty good (assuming this is like a team, if not, Peyton Manning)
Tom Brady (qb)
Ladainian Tomlinson (rb)
Chris Carter (wr)
Brian Urlacher (lb)
Brian Westbrook (rb) (already took LT, Emmit isn't much of a receiver for a change of pace guy)
Deion Sanders (cb)
Antonio Gates (te)
Darrell Green(cb) (love my Bolts, but this is no contest, Cro has a ways to go, INTs arn't everything, Green is a HOFer and shut-down CB)
Ken Houston (s)
Steve Young (qb)
Ronnie Lott (s)
Lance Alworth (wr)
the S match-ups w/Rodney Harrison were no contest. Harrison likely will make the HoF, but he was never very good in coverage, he was a classic in the box guy. Lott and Houston could both cover very well (Lott was an all-pro CB before shifting to FS).
