Percent Error, When Actual Answer = 0?
I know the equation for percent error is:
% Error = Abs(Actual - Theoretical ) / Actual * 100
Say you compute a function to have an actual value of 0, then you use an approximation function and compute the value to be .06. How do you find the percent error, when dividing by zero?

the relative error is undefined in this case [ or some may argue that it's 1] In either case it is not helpful and the absolute error is the measure to use.
