Is there nothing that can be done about Saudi Arabia?
U.S. Rear Adm. Gregory Smith, the spokesman for Multinational Forces in Iraq, said the overwhelming majority of suicide attackers are foreigners.
"Iraqis are religiously and socially opposed to suicide, requiring al-Qaida to recruit foreigners to carry out their terror. Approximately 90 percent of the suicide attacks in Iraq are carried out by foreigners," he said.
As long suspected, most come from outside Iraq. Saudi Arabia, home of most of the 9/11 hijackers, is the single largest source. And the pipeline is continually replenished by al-Qaida in Iraq's recruiters.

America will not do anything to upset the oil cart. Its all about oil. Simple as that.
Before something can be seriously done about Saudi Arabia, America has to get the Arab oil monkey off its back. Dependency means no independence in actions or deeds. That's what has happened. When the oil embargo happened in the early 70's that's when the government with industry should have launched a massive R&D program to eliminate this dependency. Especially in cars and trucks. It didn't happen to the shame of everyone. It needs to be done now and fast. Electric cars seem the best hope. Ethanol is a joke and only drives up food prices.
As long as America is so dependent on Saudi oil they will get away literally with murder. And they are.

The Bush family has a longstanding relationship with the Saudi royal family. They will do nothing to anger them because their wealth depends on them.
But Saudi Arabia is growing unstable. The average age there is getting younger and younger, and men below the age of 30, 95% of them hate the government. It's almost inevitable that there will be a revolution there. If there's a Bush in the White House at the time, American troops will be sent in to aid the govt. Otherwise (and perhaps anyway) Saudi Arabia will have an Islamic government that hates the US, for the same good reasons that Iran's government does.

We all know what has to be done. We need to exit the middle east and never again import even a drop of their oil. To do this we may have to go to gas rationing until we can build up a fleet of vehicals that can get 50 or more mpg or plug in hybrids or whatever else it takes. We could do this, so what's the hangup? We need to let those people slip back into what ever century the want to live in. We need to restrict any of these people from entering our country as well. Do any of our politicians have the guts to suggest this? Don't make me laugh! But they'll follow us here? Guess what...they could do that already.....the answer here is simple....terrorism cuts both ways. If that's what war in the 21st century has come to we'd better get a handle on it now.....driving 70 ton tanks around Iraq sure ain't the answer. Call me a radical, but in real life we don't need their problems and we don't need their oil...the Oil Mafia needs to sell it, but I don't see why we have to allow them to use our armed forces as their mercenary army to protect their profits.....let them do what the rest of us have to do....get an honest job! No kiddin'!

This is the reason we shouldn't leave Iraq. They would most certainlty follow us home and use those same tactics here in the US. By the way, they are killing eachother more than they are killing us.
What can be done about Saudi Arabia? Just wait 'til their oil runs out and they will be back to living in tents. We should ignore the liberals and start drilling our vast reserves that are proven to exist.

The suadi royal family don't want to abdicate power, and they don't want to be overthrown, so they do just enough to keep the US happy but turn a blind eye to most terrorists activity. They figure as long as they aren't targeting the saudi royal family, they don't care. there are times, just for moments mind you, that I wish we did have a nuetron bomb.

It's so awesome that we are spending hundreds of billions on these arab countries (on top of the oil money we send over there and on top of the loans we take from them).

Yeah, they (US) should eradicate that **** (sa). That would be the right thing to do. They sure won`t be missed by anyone.
