And its only really bad in the morning and through out the day it gets better till at night when i take the medication and in the morning. I always used plain unsweetened yogurt and filled a syringe with it and put it up in that area (know what I mean LOL) and I got immediate relief, and the infection was cleared up in a few days. It's safer and cheaper than those messy creams or that pill they give you. It just balances the natural bacteria that the yeast overgrow in the vagina. Another thing, taking a good probiotic complex with acidophilus, thermophilus and bifidophilus, as well as fructooligosaccrides (they feed the ophilus's LOL) can help clear it up, and prevent future infections from occurring.Source(s): Personal Experience. I've been a diabetic for 9 years and I get y.i. very easily.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.
If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Try eating a lot of yogurt, and (this is gross) soaking a tampon in all natural plain yogurt, and putting it inside. The bacteria can sometimes balance things out better.

if your SURE it's a yeast infection, you can get canesten duo over the counter
but you should go to the doctor, because if you try and treat someone that isn't thrush with thrush medication, you can make it worse
so i'd get it confirmed if i were you

Apply a few drops of tea tree oil or a dollop of tea tree oil cream to the top of a non-applicator type tampon. Insert the tampon as usual. Before applying the tea tree oil, spread a coat of lubricant over the top of the tampon to prevent the oil from being absorbed. As with the garlic suppository, you should contact your doctor before attempting this treatmentSource(s): https://tr.im/fkurG
