What do you want to know? There's a lot going on here. We have an arena football team that went away but came back this year. We have a AAA minor league baseball team. We have two rivers. Cloris Leachman is from Des Moines . . . and so is the band Slipknot.
It's hard to really say one way or another because there's a lot of ground to cover, and I'd need specifics. I'd say to try this website: http://www.ci.des-moines.ia.us/Source(s): Born, raised, and live in Des Moines
