    it means no amount of money could pay for something ie: like a photo of your children or something that is no value to someone else ,but means the world to you , it could be something simple that could never be bought !!

    It is a fanciful notion. Everything has a price. However, the word means that something is so rare and wonderful as to be incomparable with anything that is in even the up-market price range. As an example, Picassos, Rembrandts and other masterpieces are astronomically expensive, but not priceless. The Pope's tiara and the Crown of England are simply unavailable.

    Also priceless is a good joke told in the pub.

    If you say that something is priceless, you are emphasizing that it is worth a very large amount of money.

    ex.They are priceless, unique and irreplaceable..

    ex..The priceless treasures of the Royal Collection.

    If you say that something is priceless, you approve of it because it is extremely useful.

    ex. They are a priceless record of a brief period in British history.......

    ex.The influence of someone like David York will be priceless.

    priceless=worth so much to you that a value cannot be ascertained to be worthy.

    price-less=the tag fell off at the store. find a manager.

    it means that not even a zagillion dollars could pay for it. It is something that you love desperately and wont igve up for any amount of money
