I've used both Mac's and PC's for years. Early on I took art classes and learned to use both platforms, the more I used a PC the more more I began to dislike Mac's. There were so many things that drove me crazy about Mac's
Mac's are good for drawing with, both mouse and way-com, but so are PC's, Mac's are good for rendering but so are PC'c if set up for it.
One of the differences I found between Mac and PC's is that you have to be a bit more technically minded to use a PC, less so with a Mac.
Mac's do not use a modum made in one place and a chip from this place and a motherboard from another place, all from different makers. They use and make all their own parts to their own specifications, unlike PC's where they have parts made all over the place. The difference is Mac's do crash once in awhile but rarely from hardware failure, they have been solid for a very long time, so has all their software. Its not as buggy as alot of the PC stuff I have come in contact with from Windows 95 and onwards. But still I lean more towards PC's as they seem to me more interesting to use and much more versatile for drawing and music and many, many other things.
There is still quite a bit more software available to PC users than for Mac users to this day.
One of the other things I have noticed about Mac users is that its more about how the Mac looks than using it to do things.. The design seems to appeal to them first, its more like a status symbol than anything else.
