    Hello,

To copy a picture from Flickr, you can take a screenshot of the page (press PrintScreen key, open Paint, paste the picture and save it to your pictures folder).

The following will be against the license specified on some photos on Flickr:

If you try right clicking the image and you can't save it (it tells you are trying to save 'spaceball.gif') try taking a screenshot of the image (using ALT+Print Screen, then open Paint and paste), and save it from there.

Otherwise, if you're allowed to download the image (according to the license assigned to the image) simply right click, and click "Save Image As" or "Save Picture As".

    Hope this helps.

if a picture is copyrighted as indicated on a photopage, it does not matter if you are able to save image or not into your computer. If you display the image publicly or use the image in anyway without permission from the photographer, you are violating their copyrights.

because some people make living from photography and they don't want someone just use their pictures. if a picture is not 'shared' you can only save it with the printscreen trick, described above. and if a picture is share, there's 'All sizes' button above it. if you click the button you will see options to download the photo in several different sizes.

    here are some examples---

you can save this picture by clicking on 'All sizes' button:

you can only save this picture with a printcreen button:
