Is the Bible the most correct of any book on earth?
The Christian 1611 edition of the King James Version of the Holy Bible is the most correct of any book on earth, and a man will get closer to God by abiding by its precepts, if God draws that person to Himself and saves that person, than by any other book on earth. Family Radio knows that the Bible is more correct than any other books despite its imperfections because of translating the bible into different languages. What do you think is the most correct book on earth? Is the Bible the most correct book of all? I think so.

For sure it's the most correct book. For example, there are about 365 prophecies of Jesus in the OT, ones that were prophesied hundreds and thousands of years (there are prophecies of Jesus in Genesis) before He was born. How can anyone tell the future hundreds or thousands of years into the future and be correct. Every one of those prophecies about Jesus were fulfilled. No other book has done that. It also has many, many other prophecies. Ones that were fulfilled in the OT hundreds of years before it came into fulfillment and also prophecies about this day and age. No other book has done that. No person can do that. But God can and God is the true author of the Bible. It was written by about 40 men of differing occupations over 1500 years and yet the different books written by men over a millenia from shepherd, to priest, to king, and so forth were led by God/Holy Spirit into what to write and had the same consistent message. No other book has done that.
Also, there were many attempts by many people to destroy the Bible. The Bible is still here.
Also, how did Moses know about Creation? No one was there to document the days of Creation. How did he know? God guided him. How did Job know the Earth suspended over nothing? Everyone else believed elephants or giants held up the Earth. Job was guided by God that the Earth was round-and science proved that thousands of years later. How did Isaiah know the Earth was round? Many people throughout History believed the world was flat. Science proved it about 1000 years later but the Bible said it in the first place, about a millenia before it was proven.
The Bible has all the answers we need for life and godliness. It shows the way to Salvation. It is a comfort in times of trouble, it guides a person on living the best life and gives warning about making the wrong choices. There are also no contradictions. If someone comes across what they think is a contradiction, if they study further, they will find that it really wasn't a contradiction.
Science, History, Prophecies fulfilled, all of life's questions answered, and Archaeology prove the Bible is unique among all the other books (it's really a library of books about God and people). It is readable for those who are simple in mind and for those who are really intelligent.
There is one example of History and Archaeology proving the Bible is correct. The Bible talks about in several places about a people known as Hittites. For many years the Bible was the only Historical document that talked about Hittites. People who disbelieved basically said, "See? This proves the Bible isn't accurate. If there were a people known as Hittites, there would be other pieces of evidence." Those who believed in God and believed the Bible was true, basically said, "Just wait. Something will be discovered later on that proves the Bible was right all along."
Years later, an archaeological finding of clay tablets was discovered. It took many years to translate it, but when it was translated it showed the Hittites really did exist. The Bible said it all along. And that's just one example out of many that prove the Bible is completely accurate about many topics, not just about salvation and life, but also about science, medicine, History, and many other topics.Source(s): The Bible.

The introduction says it extremely is the "maximum ultimate suited e book" not that that's suitable, or that we could continually forget approximately approximately different books, or (heaven forbid) revelations from Jesus Christ. in actuality to have confidence the e book to be suitable may be to forget approximately approximately many of the authors who plead with readers to forgive their weaknesses. some substantial Mormon teachings are actually not lacking from the e book. you will discover intense references to baptism, temples, the character of God, etc. adjustments to the e book are often grammatical and not in easy terms like the bible the unique transcript (1830's printing) remains obtainable for assessment. as far because of the fact the bible being edited, pass to a Christian e book keep seem on the intense style of examine bibles and tell me which bible hasn't been edited? The King James version isn't the unique, the Tyndale isn't the unique, the Vulgate isn't the unique, the Hebrew and Greek whilst being the oldest obtainable to the Christian international are actually not modern-day with their unique authors.

If it's the most correct, how come there are discrepancies? Here's one example:
2 Samuel 23:6
The ... chief among the captains ... he lift up his spear against eight hundred, whom he slew at one time.
1 Chronicles 11:11
the chief of the captains: he lifted up his spear against three hundred slain by him at one time.
There are several examples of dates and other numbers being different for the same occasion.
For the record, I believe the bible to be the word of God. But I also accept that after hundreds of years, numerous translations, and numerous edits, there is no way that it has remained exactly the same.

Only if insects have 4 legs.
And we discover that the moon actually does give off light.
Oh, and if you don't learn to actually read the languages the Bible was actually written in and can see the mistranslations for yourself.
I can list many, many more if you'd like.

It depends on what you believe in.
I'm Catholic, so I believe the Bible contains truths and lessons to be learned, but it is not a history book and it is not 100% fact. I believe it is a guide to love people and care for the world.
You believe otherwise, and I respect that.

Oh THAT's a good one. It sounds like it's considered perfect even WITH its errors and contridictions. It must be because it says it is... By the way, what are the parameters for being considered the most perfect? Prose, story line, spelling, truth?

the king James bible was changed a bit so that it would fit the England laws and ways such as slavery God said not to in-slave people because of color or race well back them England was was doing that so if the bible said not to the they would have problems so they change that part of the bible so if you ever get a chance to learn the bible in the language it was originally written they you will see the truth
