If Ecuador & Venezuela start a war with Colombia, which nation would you support?

Update:

@Memphisto,

The United States has the technology to win the War on Drugs worldwide (against agricultural drug products) within 18 months without even firing a shot in anger. Will the United States do such a thing? Not in my lifetime because the war on drugs is far too profitable a government enterprise to end just because you can.

    I would spank all three. All three are just as corrupt. Colombia has not been able to tame its own FARC even though they were trained for drug eradication. 25 years plus and still no improvement - billions in dollars and we get is 'antagonism' off its neighbors. Venezuela on one hand is out of zink, all we have to do is contain it - its economy is hurt and will hurt more in the near future - Chavez does not know how to manage.... Ecuador needs to better manage itself as it to will hurt - everything was fine, even when they won -legally- the expropiation we condemed. It could not be challenged at the WTO or UN level so we resorted to our courts.....

    .

    Our preference of who we support and the current issues we have pending was our derilaction of our own sphere of influence of which China and now Russia have slowly bought into..

    .

    I do not beleive it will escalate beyond words and a couple of shots fired - beyond that - all we need to do is cut of funding to all three countries........

    .

    We cannot end a 25 plus year drug war - think we can stop their petty fighting that may escalate, in our presense...... 1 Carrier can contain that little squabble..

    .

    25 years ago, the 'shooting' drug war was in south america, 'today' it is in Mexico - "currently" - the shooting drug war has crossed into our borders, from California to Texas - read all about it.. Verified by the FBI, DEA and ICE

    Source(s): gee, was that a handshake after all, hhmmmm, w/o US intervention. . Three National Guardsmen were arrested in early June near Laredo, TX for smuggling Mexican nationals into the US. The Houston Chronicle reported on June 12, 2007 ("Arrests Of Guardsmen Stir Border Concerns") that "On Monday, Sgt. Julio Cesar Pacheco, 25, and Pfc. Jose Rodrigo Torres, 26, both of Laredo, and Sgt. Clarence Hodge Jr., 36, of Fort Worth, appeared before a federal magistrate on charges of conspiring to transport undocumented aliens. The suspects are being held in a detention facility in Laredo in lieu of $75,000 bail each. Pacheco, who had served in Europe with the Army, was awarded a Purple Heart two years ago for injuries he suffered in Iraq in 2004. All three Guard members were assigned to Operation Jumpstart, a Bush administration initiative launched in July that deployed 6,000 National Guard troops along the Southwest border to support Border Patrol agents. Meanwhile, one federal source confirmed there is a 'very good chance' the ongoing criminal investigation could result in more arrests."

    there is only no longer any warfare, no longer because of the fact there are no longer any motives, yet because of the fact it has grow to be widely used for Ecuador that Colombia traspasses illegaly the border. If this could have been backwards and Ecuador bombed Colombia searching for unlawful communities in Colombia's territory, then there could be warfare. the government of Uribe has a militaristic view such because of the fact the government of Bush, yet usa has many interest in South united states of america of america to assist a warfare. Ecuador is not any doubt considered one of the main effective international places in scuffling with narcotraffic. usa has a militia base in Manta, Ecuador. no person needs to pass to warfare. Ecuadorian government needs Colombia to commit on no longer doing strikes like they did on the weekend and not communicate to the national government. What could ensue if Mexico did that interior US territory??? i'm no longer keen on Chávez, yet he has won very almost all of the democratic elections ha has participated in different than final one. Chavez became into elected via its human beings and whilst the era of his government ends, then he could get replaced, no longer in the past.

    Ecuador, Venezuela, and now Nicaragua, and I'm quite sure Bolivia are all socialist governments, that are opposed to the goverment of Colombia, simply because it wishes to destroy the rebel movement within its borders. Ecuador allowed the leftist FARC movement to operate on it's soil, against the government of Colombia, and Colombia took matters into it's own hands, by going in and destroying them where they operated.

    Ecuador should have known better, than to allow a rebel power to operate from within its borders, against a neighbor country. Good neighbors don't allow this, and it makes for bad relationships.

    Hugo Chavez is a brain dead communist with too much money to piss away. He gives Venezuelan money to communist country's like those mentioned earlier, in order to hold their loyalty. This is money belonging to the people of Venezuela, who for the most part are not leftist, socialist, or communist.

    It can be resolved in hours if the people of Venezuela would take matters into their own hands and resolve this matter. Italy did it to their facist government under the brutal regime of Mussolini, and so can Venezuela. Chavez must be brought down, before all of S. America falls under communist dictatorship.
