The first trip was April 12, 1981 by the Space Shuttle Columbia. This was mission STS-1.

The Space Shuttle program is scheduled to have it's last flight in 2010 by the Space Shuttle Endeavour.

Of the 4 options you've right here, the perfect one is the first one (with the comma). The third decision (the comma and the and) does artwork, yet in many situations you do not have a comma AND the and jointly, till you're breaking apart an finished record of issues that could want to comprise the note "and". the perfect decision would were the area shuttle software has ended and the post-shuttle era has started. notwithstanding it isn't given to you as a plausible decision.

Hi. First launch was in 1981 or so and the last will be in 2010 (unless they extend the program, which they probably will). The development started in the 1970s.
