Colombia "armed forces number about 250,000 uniformed personnel". Ecuador has an army of around 31,000-35,000 people, and Venezuela of 35,000-39,000 people. Even with their forces combined, they do NOT even have half of the amount of soldiers that Colombia have.

Plus, Colombia's army is one of the most (if not the most) experienced army in the world, they know the border and the terrain like their palm of their hands after having to chase terrorists for decades, and, last but not least, they are getting money and weapons, technology from the United States. "The United States has provided equipment and financing to the Colombian military and police through the military assistance program, foreign military sales, and the international narcotics control program, all currently united under the auspices of Plan Colombia"...So...in the end...

Colombia vs Venezuela+Ecuador = Colombia wins.

that's interesting because a whole bunch of countries in that region are against colombia so maybe Venezuela but they should just stop fighting because it's not going to lead anywhere.... Ecuador is in the middle of the conflict so Ecuador would not remain neutral

Colombia has been at it for years, whereas Venezuela is more smoke and mirrors than a skilled and highly trained army.

Ecuador will move if Venezuela moves, but will not dare to otherwise. Colombia is a force to be reckoned with, Chavez would do well by withdrawing his troops before it is too late !

colombia has about 135, 000 infantry soldiers, and venezuela has 35,000 and ecuador has 35,000, so do the math but FARC which is the biggest guerilla group in colombia at the moment has about 20,000 and would ally itself with venezuela, on the other venezuela and ecuador's army has no combat experience compared to the colombian army

As we all know colombians have been at war for the past 40 years and as sad as it might sound, the civil unrest of my country is something that we have learned to live with. Just like Russia, Israel or the U.S.A. our soldiers know what they're doing and are very good at their job.

my answer to the question is simple, Colombians would win.

Venezuela would become Colombia's parking lot and Ecuadorians have never fired a gun, u could invade that country with a bb-gun, an avocato some duck tape and a plastic knife.

    Columbia would win easily.

Columbia's Army is three times larger than Venezuela's Army and much better trained and equipped.

    Even if Ecudor got involved.

Columbia would still have twice as many soldiers as Venezeula and Ecudor combined.

Thats why Columbia is shaking thier heads at Chavez, they know he's not gonna do anything , but run his mouth.

Well with all the cocaine in both countries it would be like a real alien VS. predator movie and last a hell of a lot longer.

On a good note, it would create a cocaine shortage in the USA.

Neither unless the Venezuelan military ousted Chavez.
