Will pulling out of the war against terrorism spread Israel thin to face terrorist militant factions to a heavier degree?

I suspect that Israel is well prepared for such a scenario. However, I doubt that the US will ever "pull out of the war on terror."

Terrorism is a tough nut to crack - no uniformed military, no real, main strategic targets, no single country - it's an ideology of hatred and world domination, and its members are nearly impossible to distinguish from the general populous and, obviously, there's no effective recourse against a suicide bomber. The targets are often innocent and unsuspecting civilians and their resolve, determination and objectives are public record.

None the less, this ideology must be defeated. This and other groups must not be allowed to even think that these tactics are successful or victorious - terror must be confronted swiftly and with very serious consequences.

No one is talking of pulling out of the war on terrorism, they are talking about pulling out of Iraq. Most people choose to overlook the fact that by invading Iraq, the US has fueled anti-western sentiment and has added fuel to the fire. In fact, most of the terrorist factions in Iraq were created as a result of the American invasion. For many Iraqis, they see the Americans as an occupying force who took away their civil infrastructure and brought their country into a civil war. The standard of living has plummeted and the puppet government set up in the wake of the invasion is incapable of bringing the country into reconciliation. Many of the "terrorists" in Iraq just want the Americans out of their country and have taken up arms to do so. Could you say that you wouldn't do the same to expel a foreign invader who has turned your world upside down? Once the US leaves, it is possible that the violence will subside. I am not saying that terrorism will stop, but for many, their personal battle with the US occupiers will have ended.

Israel is on troubles and not from "terrorists", recently Israeli teachers went on strike for 60 days, yes 60 days without schools! Teachers want incresing educational budget and hikes on wages.

There are also the protests from Holocaust survivors( Israel is starving them!).

And with this World crisis, Israel is on the verge of bankruptcy.

Israel has been holding its own against neighbors who rank it somewhere below Satan on the likability scale for decades now. I have confidence they can still do it.
