影響:

由於港日政府把日語定為官方語言,以日語名命香港的建築物和街道等,就會令到當時的學生教師,和當時的香港人,一時間難以適應。.

市民生活困苦日治時期,大部份市民在三餐不繼的情況下,根本就無法負擔昂貴的學費,因此大部份學童只好被迫放下書包,斷送了接受教育的大好機會。

不過,其實奴化教育影響有限,由於當時日人設立的學校為數不多,學生人數至1941年時,亦只有10,000多人,憑此少量的學生人數,實難以對一般的港人產生重大的影響,可以說,港日政府並未能對港人施行有效的奴化教育政策。
