will Ion and Alesis electric drums work together?

I just purchased an electric ION drum set. I would like to know if they will also work with Alesis drum triggers (pads) as well.

Yes ion and alesis electric drums will work together. Though the only problem with doing that is mounting issues with some of the alesis pads(cymbals)

If the input/outputs are the same they should. I assume they are both just quarter inch jacks?
