The resistance rates obtained for Enterobacteriaceae isolated from conventional chicken meat were significantly higher than those obtained from turkey meat for chloramphenicol (P = 0.0044), ciprofloxacin (P = 0.0199) and gentamicin (P = 0.0067), and significantly lower for cephalothin(P = 0.0063).

除此之外,針對doxycycline((P < 0.0001)與sulfisoxazole(P = 0.0442)的抗藥性進行測試,從有機雞肉分離出的菌株之抗藥性,比從火雞肉分離出其他腸道細菌之類似菌種之抗藥性要更低。
從傳統養殖雞肉分離出的腸道細菌對於chloramphenicol (P = 0.0044)、 ciprofloxacin (P = 0.0199) 及gentamicin (P = 0.0067)的抗藥性,比從火雞肉分離出的相同菌株之抗藥性明顯的更高,但若是針對cephalothin(P = 0.0063)的抗藥性,則是從火雞肉分離出的菌株之抗藥性比較高。
