How would you rate my team?

It is a 12 team league.

C- Joe Mauer - Twins

1B- Travis Hafner - Indians

2B- Howie Hendrick - Angels

3B- Hank Blalock- Rangers

SS- Jose Reyes - Mets

OF- Manny Ramirez - Red Sox

OF- Andrew Jones - Dodgers

OF- Jacoby Ellsbury - Red Sox

BN- Wily Mo Pena - Nationals RF

BN- Freddy Sanchez - Pirates 2B

SP- Josh Beckett - Red Sox

SP- Roy Oswalt - Astros

RP- Mariano Rivera - Yankees

RP- Hideki Okajima - Red Sox

P- Ben Sheets - Brewers

P- Dontrelle Willis - Tigers

P- Chris Carpenter - Cardinals

BN- Joba Chamberlain

BN- Barry Zito

BN- Andy Pettite

Update:

I cant just take who ever i want, its a draft, i would take vlad over ellsbury but he was taken.

Update 2:

And johnny u, i would rather have reyes than tulowitski at ss.

Update 3:

I just picked wily mo pena in the last round because he has a lot of power and if he can play often maybe he can hit some homers. And i liked him when he played on the sox.

Update 4:

bbmichal, who should i trade for at 2nd base. I cant see getting too much for chamberlain, zito and hendrick.

C- Joe Mauer - Twins: Great Pickup

1B- Travis Hafner - Indians: Needs to Stay Healthy

2B- Howie Hendrick - Angels: Try to upgrade

3B- Hank Blalock- Rangers: Nice pop

SS- Jose Reyes - Mets: Hope he steals bases

OF- Manny Ramirez - Red Sox: Needs to stay young!

OF- Andrew Jones - Dodgers: Great player

OF- Jacoby Ellsbury - Red Sox: X-Factor

BN- Wily Mo Pena - Nationals RF: Drop him

BN- Freddy Sanchez - Pirates 2B: Gold Glove

SP- Josh Beckett - Red Sox: Ace

SP- Roy Oswalt - Astros: 3rd or 4th Starter

RP- Mariano Rivera - Yankees: 40-45 saves

RP- Hideki Okajima - Red Sox: Need more innings

P- Ben Sheets - Brewers: Hope he stays healthy

P- Dontrelle Willis - Tigers: Hope he can strike out the American League hitters

P- Chris Carpenter - Cardinals: Will not walk anybody

BN- Joba Chamberlain: Trade him now

BN- Barry Zito: Trade him too

    BN- Andy Pettite: What???

You have some studs. Just manage your team closely. Don't make too many pickups. Stay on top of the matchups every day if you can. See if you can trade Zito and Chamberlain for a nice #1 or #2 starter or a starting 2nd baseman.

    C- Joe Mauer - Twins

Good: One of the better hitting catchers in the league

    1B- Travis Hafner - Indians

not so good. he really tailed off last season, not as consistent as other first baggers.

    2B- Howie Hendrick - Angels

not bad, but not real sure about him

    3B- Hank Blalock- Rangers

could be a sleeper for you, but has not produced as of late

    SS- Jose Reyes - Mets

BINGO: This guy is one of the best as his position

OF- Manny Ramirez - Red Sox

When he is hot, you are going to get a lot out of him

    OF- Andrew Jones - Dodgers

When he is not hot, he is gonna kill your team batting average. Really hit poorly last season. there is a reason the Braves let him go. over-rated.

OF- Jacoby Ellsbury - Red Sox

Could do well for you, but has not proven himself in a whole season.

BN- Wily Mo Pena - Nationals RF

Does not get enough at bats to make a difference. trade him or drop him

BN- Freddy Sanchez - Pirates 2B

solid bench guy who will do well for you

SP- Josh Beckett - Red Sox

    Great pitcher

    SP- Roy Oswalt - Astros

    Great pitcher #2

    RP- Mariano Rivera - Yankees

    Good closer

RP- Hideki Okajima - Red Sox

good pitcher but does not get save opportunities. he won't help you all that much but he won't hurt you either.

    P- Ben Sheets - Brewers

    Good pitcher

    P- Dontrelle Willis - Tigers

High ERA and WHIP. MAy hurt your pitching staff in the long run.

    P- Chris Carpenter - Cardinals

If he is healthy, another good pitcher

    BN- Joba Chamberlain

another good reliever who won't get a lot of save opportunities.

    BN- Barry Zito

Not bad, may do well. Did not produce much last season

    BN- Andy Pettite

Another good starter. You have a good bunch of starting pitchers but I would try to trade Willis and and maybe Zito for another closer. You need at least two guys who can get you some saves. Other than that, you have a pretty decent team.

I would say that is a very good team at least an 8. Have very nice balance in who you can start. Have excellent speedster and leadoff hitter with Jose Reyes. Have good contact hitter with Jamie Mauer. Have good pop with Travus Hafner, Manny Ramirez, and Andrew Jones. Pitching looks decent with Beckett, Oswalt, Willis, Pettite, and Zito. Some of the other I don't know of too well. About the only week spot I see so far is Willy Mo Pena unless the Nationals give him a good chance and he does something.

I'm not overly impressed, but you have good core players. I'd say this is a 6.5 team that should probably keep you around the middle of the pack the entire year. Some advice though:

Get rid of Sheets unless you have THAT much faith in him, because he WILL get injured.

Dontrelle Willis should be dealt too...how can anyone expect to REBOUND in the AL Central?

Okajima won't get saves...it's really frustrating to see him on all these rosters.

Chamberlain is a huge risk and probably won't get enough innings to be anything more valuable than, say, a Jon Garland might be.

Kendrick and Blalock are big risks, especially considering the rest of your roster. Be careful and proceed with caution...Blalock should be dealt immediately if anyone shows interest.

3b-Blalock is a question mark. Don't start with Willis until he adjust to the AL. Your outfield is a little weak. Jones numbers will be down since he is going to dodgers stadium. Carpenter is also a question mark start Zito and Pettite instead of willis and carpenter.

gimme a break Ellsbury over Vlad? no way. and its Kendrick, not Hendrick. beckett is a good choice. i'd put that red sox as your closer. papelbon, he's better than rivera.

i'd put that colorado rockies SS in, has a long name starts with a T.
