here is the map of Poland w/the cities u are offered to go to:

so look at it and then u will have the general idea of where u wud be send to,

keep in mind that we have mountains in the southern area n since u dont like the city life u may want to go to either Wrocław or Kraków cos these cities are close to the mountains (Kraków is closer to bigger mountains)

both cities are close to the boarders w/Czech Rep n Slovakia so u can be tempted to go there as well when u have some spare time =) as for being close to other countries, as u see in the map, Szczecin is close to Germany, Lublin- Belarus/Ukraine n Białystok-Belarus

Gdańsk is a nice city too cos its by the sea n its pretty as well, there are many foreigners visiting esp durin summer, Warsaw is multicultural there are many different nations there

as for the foreign exchange students there are many of em everywhere my cousin is in Wrocław (medical school) n she says there are many foreigners but in general we have many foreigners studyin in Poland as exchange students so i bet u wudnt feel alone in here

u like the nature but u will be livin in a city so even if u go to Kraków n u will be so close to Zakopane (-mountains, which is our so called winter capital) it doesnt mean u will have time or possibility of goin there n be so close to the nature,

maybe u shud be focused on parks n alike? or maybe u wud prefer goin to the less populated city out of all of these? u gotta think bout it =) we have many forests n parks everywhere, just check the sites read bout the cities n choose sth, i dont think that u cud get any answer sayin "go to the city X" ppl from Wrocław will recommend u that city, ppl from Kraków will tell u to go to Kraków so its not that reliable right? =) u shud check the univs (their websites if u dont have any info privided by the ortanization who is gonna send u to Poland) n see if there is sth in particular univ u like n the other univs lack it, but if u r into nature as i said we have forests here and alike so it shudnt be a problem to go there n relax =) also i think u will be too busy w/studies to rest much anyway so u wont be able to go camping too often

there is a national park nearby Białystok called Białowieża http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bia%C5%82owie%C5%BCa_...

(didnt find a site for this city in English, http://www.lodzcity.pl/)

go also to wikipedia n get to know some more there bout the cities then decide =)

If you study Medicine, choose Krakow or Wrocław. In both of these cities the medical universities are the best, you can be sure. Don't worry about your origin! In Kraków and Wrocław, both big cities, nobody cares about it and as somebody has already said, there are many Islamic communities. I would say Kraków is more friendly and calm [a peaceful city with loooong tradition, really friendly people and helpful. I think Wrocław is a city where there are more foreigners. Both cities are near mountain ranges [Wrocław near Sudety, Kraków near Tatry]. I would also say that Kraków is a bit cheaper to live.

In concluse.... check Kraków. It has got a very old medicine University, they keep a bit higher level than in other cities in Poland.

    Good luck! :)

Then choose Krakow:) the people here a very friendly, lots of people speak english, and its very close to Zakopane, which would be a perfect place for you to go camping as it has mountains and many forests. Theres plenty to do and see in the city, but if you find city life boring you can always easily get out of the city for awhile as the who region of Malopolska (where the city of Krakow is located) is very beautiful, and well known for its forests and mountains.

I would recommend Szczecin, Krakow, or Warszawa. Szczecin is a pretty small town and are very friendly there. It's also very quiet there. Krakow is also a pretty good town, and Warszawa is the capital of Poland, so I would recommend it but you dont want to be by a city, but there are a few Arab people there. So overall, I would suggest Szczecin.

I'd choose Gdańsk, Kraków or Wrocław.

As for Arabs, there are many in Warsaw, but if you don't like city life, there's not much to do there.

Gdańsk and Wrocław are much more quiet and cozy (but still big cities), with many cultural activities, monuments and many students. And pleasant surroundings too, great places to camp - but no mountains.

So, Kraków may be the best place. Nightfang listed the reasons - I would add Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska, the region just north of Kraków, abundant in hills, rivers, caves, and castles or ruins of them. There's even a desert!

Krakow! Warszawa is the capital so you can imagine it's a city

I would have to agree with Nightfang as it ticks all the boxes you ;have mentioned, however I do know for example that in Lublin where my wife's cousin trained as a Doctor there were many Arab students training there.

    Wroclaw has muslim people there.

Krakow is a nice city to settle in it is right by Zakopane.

    Zakopane is a mountain/forest area.

    Warszawa is also a city.

They are all very beautiful places.

    Have fun on your trip!
