McCain hasn't publicly said what his stand is on the tax cuts is, to my knowledge. Meanwhile, you my friend are sadly misinformed. President Bush didn't provide a "tax cut for the wealthy." It was an across the board tax rebate available to all who pay taxes.
Last year I PAID more in federal income tax than my brother EARNED for the same year. So of course my rebate was much larger than his.
My income was considerably more than 100K last year so I probably paid more than you earned too. According to your sense of fair play, just how much of my tax rebate should be paid to you? How hard should I work, how many 14 hour days should I put in, how well should I invest my money so that you can get a part of my tax rebate?
If you were really fair minded then you would agree that you should get nothing, that it should go to some wino who laid in the park drunk all year, earned nothing, paid no taxes and was supported by my tax dollars in the form of welfare.
Wouldn't that be the really fair thing to do? Shouldn't I work hard and advance myself just so the bums in the park can have a better life?
Keep whining kiddo and I am sure it will happen.
