Nothing at all wrong with any of the above, but take a good look at the XD45 also. It doesnt need anything out of the box, shoots great and keeps a nice pattern.Source(s): Firearms instructor, arsenal officer and armorer

Depends on what you want to do with it. For concealed carry, I kinda like the Taurus PT145 (although I prefer a .40). It's thinner than the Springfield, shoots good, and I've never had any problems with mine. It's a few bucks cheaper too. All top manufacturers make good sub compacts, what sold me was to hold the different models and see what felt best. The thinner frame is a big plus for concealed carry, but it's harder to find a top quality holster for the Taurus. Hope this helps.

I swear by Glock. Hk is good, Sig Sauer is good.
