well the way i see the definitions and heard them are such. vegetarians can eat fish and eggs but nothing else. vegans don't use products used or made from animals, they don't eat chicken, turkey, fish, beef, pork, etc. a lot of vegans still wear products such as makeup and soaps tested on animals.
there are also semi-vegetarians who eat chicken, turkey, and fish.
most people see fish as not being meat, but chicken, turkey, pork, and beef as meat.
i think we all should limit our meat intake, just because of the cloning of animals, and the antibiotics they inject in our meat products. i eat some chicken, turkey, and fish. but i don't touch cows or pork. cows are sacred, and pork, pigs nasty animals. one day i'll be vegetarian, or vegan again, but not now.
there is a lot of misleading information out there. so it is very much difficult for many people to label what they truly are based on their eating habits because of the misleading definitions and websites.
