What's your favorite show team (horse &/or rider)...current and all-time?

My favorite current riders are Beezie Madden (US), Molly Ashe-Cawley (US), and Captain Carey Shane (I believe that's his name).

All-time favorites:

Greg Best on Gem Twist (too bad Gem Twist's gone...he at least had a full life):

Update:

Yeah, Big Ben and Ian Miller would also have to be among my favorites ^_^

I really like Jill Henselwood on Black Ice. I know Black Ice isn't as great as Special Ed, but he is a gorgeous jumper. I also like Mac Cone and Melinda, they make a good team. Eric Lamaze and Ramiville do very well and are (in my opinion) Canada's best rider next to Ian Millar. That leads me into the last one, Ian Millar and Big Ben are my all time favourites! At the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, I got to meet Eric Lamaze, Jill Henselwood and Ian Millar and get their autographs! They are all very nice.

Oh ya, my favourite CURRENT rider is Beezie Madden on Authentic, they are a very promising team.

Nona Garson & Rhythmical HANDS DOWN... they were very successful when they were campaiging but others were more so... what made them stand out was the fact that Nona could make an Olymipc round look like an equitation class... perfect form regardless of the size of the jump and Rhythmical could make the same round look like a conformation hunter class! It's so rare these days that you see such athleticsm come from such a classical pair.

There are so many other pairs that have been unbelievavly sucessful and I'm not discrediting them - I just don't think ANY have done it as clasically as Nona and Rhythmical!

Brianne Goutal is an up-and-coming star who I am sure will be representing the USA in the coming Olympics and making us all VERY proud!!!

Prolly Beezie and Authenic, but there is a German team with a male rider and a huge grey stallion that has such scope and a big jump. I don't recall their names but i always know them when i see that stallion take the first fence and i always full for them to come in first behind the american riders. Aslo the brailizan rider that cleaned up with his quick lil mare, i don't know there names either but they make a really great team, that mare tries her heart out for him.

I gotta agree with you though..Gem Twist was amazing.

I also like Melissa Hunsberger and her horse Just Fun Stuff. I watched her ride at Rolex 2007, and also had a chance to meet her when she did a clinic in my area. What a talented young woman!
