Are you gonna call him on your death bed?

"The answer to all questions, the spark of all suggestions

Of righteousness, the pathway to the road of perfection

Who gives you all and never ask more of you

The faithful companion that fights every war with you

Before the mortal view of the prehistorical, historical

He's the all and all, you searchin for the oracle

A mission impossible, purely philosophical

BUT YOU CALL HIM ON YOUR DEATH BED WHEN YOU LAYIN IN THE HOSPITAL"

    RZA,

I have already spoken with HIM each and every day for the last twenty some years and I continue to do so each and every day. I will not need to "call on HIM". HE already has my name and knows me very well. I pray that when my time comes I will be ready to meet with HIM. Have a great evening. When YOU are ready to get to know HIM let me know and I will attempt to find a study group in your area for you to work with.

    Thanks,

    Eds

    Debra,

    Great Answer, as always.

    Thank YOU!!

I am gonna call Him on my death bed, and every day until then. I pray I will be able to call Him, seek Him, praise Him for many days to come before that last one.

I can tell you now the answer will be no. The older I get the more convinced that I am there is no God. BS will not save me when I'm dying why would I bother.

There is no death bed religion,,God said he want,s a living

believer not a dead one,,and God is the God of the living

not the dead,,and the Bible say,s as a tree falls .so shall it lay

when your dying in sin , it,s over and to late.

"BUT YOU CALL HIM ON YOUR DEATH BED WHEN YOU LAYIN[sic] IN THE HOSPITAL"

What a load of sentimentalist pap.

There are no invisible sky chappies prancing round on their tippy-toes in the sky.

I am in this world alone and I will die alone.

Dying is a solitary journey into the big-forever-sleep.

It is like leaving a movie half-way; it is like leaving your favourite mean half-way; it's like the ultimate coitus interruptus.

Hmmm, a lot of people actually call out for their parents regardless of how old they are or what their religion is.

Let me ask you. Are you going to be thinking of atheists when you're on your deathbed?

No? Then why would you care what someone does or doesn't do on their deathbed.
