"Bonjour, je m'appele Al-Muslim. Comment t'appele-tu?" Which translates to "Hello, my name is Al-Muslim. What is your name" (literally, "Good day, I call myself Al-Muslim. How do you call yourself?) This is the form I've learned to use in my seven plus years of studying the language. (Oh, and you only use tu with those of equal or lesser status--such as friends, siblings, children, etc...) As far as pronunciation goes: bon-jur (like jury, but without the y), je ma-pell Al-Muslim. Co-moh (pronounced like John, only without the the j or the n) ta-pell to.

Wa alaykum salaam.. I've learn this earlier than, published by way of an extra person right here.. And Masha'Allah this poem spits out the sour reality of a few "muslims" (I search safe haven to Allah from being like that). And Wallah No !! I wish to not be a muslim by way of title, and Insha'Allah all of us shall make Islam our lifestyle. :)

    Hey, je m'appelle Cesar...

    You like made a mistake...

    T'Appel actually means "your call"

    Comment means "how"

So you said..."Hello, my name is Al-Muslim, your call how?"

I think what you were trying to say is..."Hello, my name is

    Al-Muslim, whats your name?"

If that is what you were trying to say...then here is the right way to say it...

"Bonjour, je m'appelle Al-Muslim, ce qui est votre nom?"

This...^^^...then translates into "Hello, my name is Al-Muslim, whats your name?"

Thats the right way to say it!!!

    Hope I helped!!!

Source(s): I speak English, French, and Spanish...Im native in Spanish, and I am now working on Japanese!!!

    I know it means

Good morning. My name is ... What's your name?

    You should be saying

    Je m'appelle (your name here).
