A "cc" is a cubic centimeter, a cube with each edge a centimeter in length.

Engine displacement is expressed in terms of either cubic inches, cubic centimeters, or liters. A liter is 1,000 cc's.

But what is displacement? An engine contains pistons that move up and down within round cylinders. A fuel-air mixture explodes in the cylinder, forcing the piston down within it. This force is mechanically transfered to the wheels, moving the car.

There are two key measurements with the pistons: their diameter (bore), and the distance they move up and down (stroke). The diameter can be used to calculate their surface area (pi times the square of half the diameter). Multiple this surface area by the stroke and then by the number of cylinders (one to six with a bike) gets you the total displacement of the engine.

Ok that's funny (sorry). A Cron Daemon is a computer script that runs (many servers have things called daemons that run on them - they aren't demons, ghosts or spirits). Often servers will run "cron jobs" - just meaning the job or in this case daemon - is scheduled to run at a regularly scheduled time. You're not being contacted by daemons - this is just a default error you're getting from some email server.

ah, you need to learn how to write a little better but CC stands for Cubic Centimeters, or in other words Mililiters.

So my bike is 1000CCs meaning is displaces 1000 ml of water in the piston chambers.

It's a volume measurement to indicate size, just like a car, whereas you have a 3.4L engine or a 5.7L, it's just on a smaller scale.

    cubic capacity ,

The size of an engine is referred to as it's cubic capacity and is pretty easy to work out. Basically you are trying to calculate the area of a cylinder that is from the top of the piston at bottom dead center, to the top of the barrel.

in an engine its the displacement in cubic centimeters.

the conversion to cubic inches is 16.387 cc's per cubic inch.

example- 61 cubic inch x 16.387=999.607 cubic centimeters usually rounded up to 1000cc's

Cubic Centimeters. A 1800cc engine in a bike is equivalent to a 1.8L (liter) car engine. They are the same displacement.

Cubic Centimeters...its a measure of volume.

it's funny how many people don't realize this question was asked in the motorcycle section. CC stands for Correct Catagorization. hahaha

cubic centimeters... that is the displacement of the cyclinders

Carbon copy. This option is used to send to multiple recipients and is considered more polite than putting all the people you are addressing the email to in the TO: field of the message. Using carbon copy allows each recipient to see the email addresses of everyone that the email was sent.
