Do you know the DIFFERENCE between Obama on healthcare and Clinton?

Hillarys Plan:

Affordable: Unlike the current health system where insurance premiums send people into bankruptcy, the plan provides tax credits for working families to help them cover their costs. The tax credits will ensure that working families never have to pay more than a limited percentage of their income for health care.

Available: No discrimination. The insurance companies can't deny you coverage if you have a pre-existing condition.

Reliable: It's portable. If you change or lose your job, you keep your health care.

If you have a plan you like, you keep it. If you want to change plans or aren't currently covered, you can choose from dozens of the same plans available to members of Congress, or you can opt into a public plan option like Medicare. And working families will get tax credits to help pay their premiums.

Small businesses are the engine of new job growth in the U.S. economy but face bigger challenges when it comes to providing health care for their employees. Hillary would give tax credits to small businesses that provide health care to their workers to help defray their coverage costs. This will make small businesses more competitive and help create good jobs with health benefits that will stay here in the US.

Insurance companies won't be able to deny you coverage or drop you because their computer model says you're not worth it. They will have to offer and renew coverage to anyone who applies and pays their premium. And like other things that you buy, they will have to compete for your business based on quality and price. Families will have the security of knowing that if they become ill or lose their jobs, they won't lose their coverage.

Obamas Plan

Guaranteed eligibility. No American will be turned away from any insurance plan because of illness or pre-existing conditions.

Comprehensive benefits. The benefit package will be similar to that offered through Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP), the plan members of Congress have. The plan will cover all essential medical services, including preventive, maternity and mental health care.

Affordable premiums, co-pays and deductibles.

Subsidies. Individuals and families who do not qualify for Medicaid or SCHIP but still need financial assistance will receive an income-related federal subsidy to buy into the new public plan or purchase a private health care plan.

Simplified paperwork and reined in health costs.

Easy enrollment. The new public plan will be simple to enroll in and provide ready access to coverage.

Portability and choice. Participants in the new public plan and the National Health Insurance Exchange (see below) will be able to move from job to job without changing or jeopardizing their health care coverage.

Quality and efficiency. Participating insurance companies in the new public program will be required to report data to ensure that standards for quality, health information technology and administration are being met.

To those trying to WORK the angle that Hillary will MANDATE insurance, that is NOT the case! BOTH Obama's plan and Hillary's will COST PREMIUMS, both OFFER subsidies, BOTH include pre-existing conditions, Hillarys covers MORE people...that is the difference according to political anaylists!

Update 2:

Blue you have been listening to rumors NO WHERE anywhere DID anyone talk about garnishing wages!!! THE ONLY person that can garnish wages is the INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE!!!! THAT WILL NEVER CHANGE! The government LOVES that control too much!

That's what I have been trying to point out to people. Nicely said, Hillary has my vote.

Health care will not be cheaper under government control, the government can't do anything cheaper than private enterprise. This has been proven time and again. That is why China is doing so well, they are allowing private enterprise to do more and the gorvernment do less. One time a U.S. senator admitted that the government couldn't brew beer for less than $100. a bottle. Since the government got involved in health care in the 1960's the cost has sky rocketed.

Thank you for the post. I do prefer Obama's plan, I have no problem paying for my own coverage, but I have a pre-existing condition so the insurance companies won't touch me. They are the problem and they need to be regulated.

Actually Edward's had the best plan of all.

She had been asked about how her mandates would be funded, and each time she fumbled around and would not answer. But George Stephanopolis, ( who she once called a f*ck up) wouldn't let her off the hook, and she finally coughed up her " garnishment" of wages or " strict" penalties. And that is the exact problem I have with Hillary. She has hidden agendas and she is too instructive. This is not a monarchy.

Hilary's is a forced plan that a) will put more burden on hosptals and b)will drag the IRS in to garnish wages to pay premiums to meet standards set by her, not you.

Socialized healthcare is great if you make more than 50g a year. People are under the false impression free healthcare is going to cure their cancer, brain tumors, etc, when it will still take alot of money for surgeries. If you just need to go to the dentist, have a kid (illegals already are covered w/o any credit issues to report to), need a checkup, or cheaper scripts, its great. If anything is actually wrong w/ you you will get sub-par treatment and have to dish out alot of $$.

I already pay a "limited percentage" of my check to taxes, equalling me working 3 months out of the year for the gov.

We're all f*cked with this seditionist traitor.

He spoke to Odinga just last week, Odinga is his first cousin in Kenya, a radical Muslim involved in Christian murders and who has an agenda to impose Sharia law there. Maybe here next. They're buds.

  • You seem to have it down. Go girl! I'd vote for Hillary.
