I don't know exactly, but it's a line in the play we're doing. the lady asks the man his name, and he says "it's puddin' tane, ask me again and I'll tell ya the same." Then she asks again, and he says, "it's Charlie Brown. Ask me again and I'll knock ya down."

It's from a Little Rascals episode.

The teacher (Miss Crabtree I believe) asks one kid his name and he says

"Pud n' Tane. Ask me again and I'll tell you the same."

Then the teacher asks another kid the same and he says.

"John Brown. Ask me again and I'll knock you down."

From what I heard, it's an old joke:

    "What's your name?"

"Pud n' Tane. Ask me again and I'll tell you again."

    "What's your name?"

"John Brown. Ask me again and I'll knock you down."

If there's more, I don't know the rest of it.

    It's a lost word.

"What's your name? Puddin-in-Tane! Ask me again, I'll tell you the same."
