If you have stage IVA esophageal cancer, how long do you have to live?

    In patients with surgically removable esophageal cancer, the cure rate is only between 5 and 20%, so that gives you an idea about how poor survival can be. Most patients with advanced disease survive less than a year.

    Can't be sure, ask a doctor or look it up on google. Hope if you know someone with that kind of cancer lives long.
