US Marines train longer than Royal Marines. Brits are fool of hot garbage because they don't research the different branches. I will break it down with math and facts:
USMC: 13 weeks in basic training with no time off. 13 weeks = 91 days in basic training. Also after basic training US Marines go to Infantry School which is 59 days long. So, US Marines train for 150 days straight. USMC infantry school is part of AIT, Advanced Indivdual Training. All US branches have AIT after boot camp. It depends on your mos how long you attend AIT, but I only included Marine Infantry to compare to the Royal Marines. Radio Operators, Intel Operators, Computer Operators and ect can train for up to a year. After all of this training in AIT, US Marines are finally sent to their unit for more training. Hence, 13 weeks and that's it is a myth created by the British to bash their American counterparts.
All branches of the US Armed serives has Basic training and AIT!!!! It's a fact.
Royal Marines: 32 weeks with the weekends off. Also after week 12 Royal Marines get extended leave so they can visit their mummy, girlfriends, and family. Royal Marines training: 32 weeks with weekends off = 160 days of training. Also the Royal Marines don't have AIT or infantry school on its own. It's included inside of the 32 week training period. This is a bona fide fact Brits always forget to mention. Royal Marines only train 160 days and then they're sent to their unit for further training. Hence, I didn't include the 2 weeks the Royal Marines get, either, lol.
US Marines also have special forces called Force Recon. They train upwards of 2 year before they're sent to their unit. USMC is better because it's land, sea, and air. The USMC also has its own airforce which is bigger than the Royal Airforce, lmfao. Brits don't know what they're talking about. This is why they have been nothing buy cannon fooder in the war on terror. They just left Iraq, lol. US Marines had to take over and they finally won what the Royal Marines couldn't win
