front end 指的是前置作業，backend指的就是後置作業。

The front end 負責從客戶端收集各種資料並且確認可以被後置作業使用。

The back end 負責把整合所有的從front end 傳過來的資訊。

舉例來說，一個平面設計師就是front end，負責把平面設計師設計的網站寫成code的程式設計師就是back end。
