What was your husbands MOS or rate in the Army? He will have a better chance getting a job based on his rate. A lot of businesses hire and also prefer prior service individuals. You can check out military.com. They have a lot of information on there as well as job postings for prior service/veterans. Also try usajobs.com. It is a website for federal jobs. A lot of them on there prefer someone who was previously in the military.

    Hope that helps. Good luck!

Many Army occupational specialties translate over into civilian jobs - if he's about to get out he should have access to some counselors and other resources to help him secure a job in the civilian market. It all depends on if he wants to do in civilian life what he did in the Army - if was infantry or armor or some such thing he can do about anything he wants to.

You did not mention his Army field or his education status, etiher.

I think there is always a growing need for border patrol agents or port authority agents in Florida. With so many people entering this country illegally, he might want to look into security and having a military background, that could really help him. That would have a great retirement package as well.

Sorry but fear is not a great meal.

he can do delivery newspapers / pizza until he find a 'job' he likes.

suggest he visit library read the following

    '48 days to work u love' d.miller

    great info for going forward.

    'what colour is ur parachute'

    'total money make over' d.ramsey

to learn to own ur money not be own by ur money.

understand any 'job' requires him to sell him self as a commodity.
