這一段是在音樂劇Les Miserables中芳汀的女兒小Cosette被寄託在旅店主人的場景, 貪婪的旅店主人夫婦,總是裝出一副偽善的樣子,事實上卻想盡辦法要酒客掏出錢來. 在店中，幾名酒客聚集，店老板穿梭在客人之中服務，大伙齊聲高唱「屋子的主人」（Master of The House），閒聊嚼舌一番。

This is a joyful scene in the musical, Les Miserables. It consists the monolog of Thenardier, the master of the house and chorus of the drinkers. He appears as a hypocrite, being generous and kind to the drinkers. However, he is actually a greedy person, wanting more money from the drinkers.
