they look double the size they were yesterday. i have windows vista.

You don't have to go through all that it's very simple - right click on your desktop click veiw and choose classic icons.

One way that you can change the size of your desktop icons would be to right click on an empty area of the desktop and then hover your mouse pointer over the "View" section of the menu that comes up, where you should then be able to select from either "Large", "Medium", or "Classic" icon size. As you have probably guessed, the "Classic" icon size is the smallest. Good luck and I hope I helped you!

two ways .. change your desk top resolution

or go to

your desktop and right click .. choose properties then the appearance tab, and then advanced scan down to icons and reset the size to what you want

oops, third way, try a restore point for before yesterday

If you have Windows 7 go to Control Panel> Appearance and Personalisation> Task bar and Start menu > then Start Icons, Hope this helped.
