No, you won't be able to learn Afrikaans or any other language in two weeks.
What you can do is learn enough phrases and basic vocab to allow you to enter into rudimentary conversations with people. Try to learn some phrases like "What is that called?" and "How do you say ____ in Afrikaans?" The important thing would be to get yourself to a place where you'll be able to benefit from being in an environment where everyone can speak it. You'll want to tell people that you're eager to learn so that they know to help you struggle through without just switching to English because it's easier.
To truly learn a language does take at least five years for most people, but you should be able to learn to carry on a very, very basic conversation in a couple weeks.
Good luck and enjoy your trip!
I have a bachelor's in Linguistics and a Master's in the Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
