The Screen Actor's Guild is saying that they will support the writers and not cross the line. No the writers can't cross to accept awards, they'd cross their own line and would face disciplinary action. The producers of the Oscars have said they are planning some type of show but they have been keeping it top secret. I think they know it will be lame and are hoping the mystery factor will draw an audience.

The time period "crossing the wooden line" is figurative. they don't mean that the actors/celebrities ought to ought to really walk via a mass of writers wearing wooden signs and indicators. Actors, directors, and human beings on the issue of movie and television are (for the most section) attempting to understand the conflict between the studios and the writers. anybody needs anybody else for the device to artwork, and anybody needs a speedy and sensible determination. In about 6 months, the reveal Actors Guild will be as a lot as renegotiate THEIR contracts, and they are going to be combating for his or her percentage of an similar funds that the writers are in contact about. So that is equivalent factors comprehend and self activity that keeps human beings faraway from the awards shows.

It should if they all support the writers...which they also should. But, you know how it is. Money talks and ego's must be fed. If they do it they are a bunch of hippocrites. They'd be nothing without the writers.

I support the writers and would never cross a picket line.

Good and timely question. Star for you.
