My 2 month old is on Nutramigen formula after trying out about 4, this one worked. She also has reflux...?

Once the doc. gave her some Zantac, all of her fussiness stopped. The only thing about the Nutramigen is that it is predigested and goes straight through her. Also it makes her hungry soon after she eats, because it is all coming out of her and she is hungry again. Now that she is on the Zantac I am thinking about switching back to Enfamil Gentlease, to see if it would help with the pooping. Anyone have this same problem with Nutramigen?

The most immediate thing you can do is to stop drinking coffee and cola. Smoking is not good either, but that might be harder to stop. Don't over-eat. Don't lie down too soon after eating. Don't burp too much - this carries acid up with the burp.

My son was suffering from severe reflux and colic and nothing was helpful including zantac. Then I tried babies magic tea as was being told by a friend. This worked great and soothed my baby instantly.

My son is 3 months old and has reflux also. he is on zantac and that has helped with the fussiness but our doctor recommended that we continue on the same formula...SImilac Advance with Iron. I am not sure...but I think that it is a good sign that the formula is going through her so quickly..that is what breast milk does. Talk to your doctor before switching again though..I don't think it is good to change formulas so much??

My son had acid reflux and took zantac. He was on Enfamil AR (acid reflux) and the two together took care of the problem with no side effects.

How odd. I didn't have that problem at all. It cured all the vomiting and fussy behavior my son had in a few days. He had no problem with getting hungry earlier then normal and had normal stools.

No, but if you still have breast milk, why don't you try breastfeeding again? It is really the best nutrition for your baby and it's free!

Isn't rice cereal a bit too early for a 2 month old?
