What is the microsoft word font called which is like typewriter font???

    There are quite a few:

    Courier is the standard one that comes with every Windows OS.

    You can also go to http://www.dafont.com and download a few typwriter fonts as well for free.

    There's one called American Typewriter.

    Also Bookman Old Style; but if you're looking for a standard default font with serifs, you're probably thinking of Times New Roman.

    Times New Roman is the font most associated with the 'look' of an oldtime typewriter...but typewriters were frequently fitted with very different fonts and the classic IBM Selectric used interchangeable font 'balls' offering a variety of type faces/
